Do You Remember the Revolutionary War?

Sitting at home, hearing all the fireworks around me blasting off like thunder and gunshots echoing over the hollow, I can't help but remember the Revolutionary War.

This is not the first 4th of July I've sat and listened to this echo around me, and thought about how scared the people in the East must have been during the Revolutionary War. Battles could be heard in the woods and the towns surrounding their homes, and they never knew what could be around the corner that might concern them.

They would be huddled in corners of their houses, or wood sheds, clasping their children close, wondering if the day would bring the British or the Americans to their door.

They would have to continue with their daily chores and evening chores, and still hear the groans and sadness of people dying around them.

However, these people were not cowards by any means. Even the children were strong enough to realize it might be a matter of life or death, but it was freedom they were aiming for.

That wonderful word, freedom. How many in the world in the last two centuries have risked their entire lives to reach American soil?

When we say God bless America, we do not say it with any sanctimonious air. We plead to the Lord for this American experiment to continue under His supervision.

This nation was founded on Christian principles and Christian men who led the way. Christianity is the only belief system that allows a person to make free choices that affect their own life and those of other children.

God bless America!

(Amazing AI that generated using the words I wrote, and incorporating them into the graphic. Love it!)
